Elbe-Obst Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH is a joint venture of fruit wholesalers and the Elbe-Obst Erzeugerorganisation r. V. Together they supply the food retailing, the processing industry, the export market and the convenience sector. Elbe-Obst Fruchtverarbeitung mbH also operates a convenience factory.
The growing region "Altes Land" lies on the left bank of the Elbe, on the west of Hamburg. The annual fruit production rates are above an average of 150,000 t, where the apple is the most important product. The grouping, sorting, processing and packaging of the fruit producers takes place at the sorting and packaging stations in the growing region.

The soft fruit includes sweet and sour cherries, plums and prunes, strawberries, raspberries, red and green gooseberries, black and red currants and blackberries. Especially the protected sweet cherry cultivation under a foil roof is steadily increasing.
The convenience range includes whole peeled apples, cubes, segments, rings, slices, strips, etc. All products are deliverable frozen or fresh. In addition, a finely strained puree is produced.
Dried apple chips from our own production are characterized by a very low residual moisture. This creates the unique crunch.
