Exhibitor profile

Regional. International. Always the finest Choice. Obst vom Bodensee!

The “Obst vom Bodensee Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH” is headquartered in Germany‘s most southern fruit growing area. In the first few years after founding the company, the marketing of the region Lake Constance, as well as goods from the Neckar, put the region in focus as a central point. From the former core business, our company name emerged.

The “Obst vom Bodensee Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH” marketed the goods of its shareholders: “VEBO-Frucht”, BayWa AG and as well as the VOG Ingelheim. The marketing of overseas goods as well as exports to England, eastern and southern Europe, complete the business today.

Our activities, which meet the needs of the market are the guiding principles. For example, the adaptation of the apple range plays an important role. By working with producer organizations (MABO and WOG), our product range could be aligned as in recent years very precisely to the market requirements.

Exporting
Good quality is in demand everywhere. But of course every country and every culture have their own preferences - even with apples. There are concerns about the size, the flavours or the coloration. Thanks to our varieties and a wide range of different fruit sizes, we can supply many optimal supply markets. Our export quota to eastern and southern Europe, England and northern Africa is currently a pro-rata at around 10 percent.
